What exactly am I buying?

What if the AI says something wrong to my customer?
It only answers from what you taught it — your prices, your hours, your policies, in your words. Anything it isn’t sure about it hands to you instead of guessing. You can read every conversation it has had, jump into any thread yourself, and turn it off for particular customers or entirely. Most people start with it answering only the basic questions, then widen what it handles once they’ve watched it for a week.
Will this get me to the top of Google?
Nobody can promise you a position on Google, and be careful of anyone who does. What this genuinely does is get your happy customers asked for a review at the right moment, every time, without you having to. Your review count and star rating are the part of your Google presence you can actually influence — and for most local businesses they’re what a customer reads before deciding between you and the place down the road.
Which social accounts can I connect?
Facebook, Instagram and your Google Business Profile, with more available depending on your setup. You can write posts with AI help and schedule weeks of them in one sitting, and messages or comments come into the same inbox as your calls and texts — so an Instagram enquiry gets followed up exactly like a phone call.
Will it sound like a robot?
It writes in the words you give it during setup, which is why setup is done on a call rather than from a template. If a reply ever sounds wrong to you, you change it and it stays changed.
Does it replace me?
No, and it shouldn’t. It handles the repetitive middle — the same five questions, the booking back-and-forth, the follow-up you forgot. The work customers actually pay you for is still yours, which is the point: it exists so you have time to do it.
I already use something for bookings. Do I have to switch?
No. Plenty of people keep what works and use SMPGuide for the parts they don’t have — usually the follow-up, missed-call text-back and review requests. We’ll tell you honestly on the call which of your tools are worth keeping.
Do I lose my phone number?
No. You can keep your existing number, or add a second one for business texting and leave your personal number alone. Most people prefer the second number.
How long does setup take?

What if I’m not technical at all?
That’s the normal case, and it’s why setup is done with you rather than sent to you. If you can use your phone’s messages app, you can use this.
